Taylor Swift “Look What You Made Me Do” Single Review

Look What You Made Me Do is the lead single off of Taylor Swift’s upcoming album Reputation and features production by Jack Antonoff.

Everything Mainstream Consensus:

“After the thrilling, glittery pop phenomenon that was Taylor Swift’s 1989 album era, Look What You Made Me Do is hardly a step forward. The production relies on a sample that shorts a stunning pre-chorus and Swift’s lyrics are either too blatant in the intention or too obnoxious to take seriously. Despite these issues, the song does have a punch, and once again, that pre-chorus is breathtaking. Too bad it’s followed by a lackluster chorus that completely stalls the momentum.”
