Dancing In The Dark is the final track off of Imagine Dragon’s 2017 album Evolve.
Everything Mainstream Consensus:
“An abrupt and unfashionable change of tone, Dancing In The Dark sounds like a b-side or deluxe track that somehow found it’s way onto the album. The track, produced by long-time collaborator Alex Da Kid is serene and pleasant to listen to but the autotune lacing Dan Reynold’s voice and a trip-pop beat leaves much to be desired. Also, Imagine Dragon’s last two albums featured massive arena-style album closers such as Nothing Left To Say and The Fall, making this track pale in comparison.”
Everything Mainstream ranks music based on a mix of artistic, commercial, and fan appeal. When the cover art of a single/album is green, the single/album is positive, while yellow means mixed response and red symbolize a negative response.
