‘Thunder’ was released worldwide on the 27th of April, and is the second single released for their 3rd album, following ‘Believer’. ‘Thunder’ is about not conforming to society’s standards. Dan is singing about being told what to do as a child, and that he can’t follow his dreams. In the second verse, he says that he overcame everyone that told him what to do, and achieved his dreams of being on stage. (From Genius)
