True Colors – Zedd, Everything Mainstream Album Review

Fresh off the success of “Stay The Night” and “Clarity”, as well as being featured on the Ariana Grande song “Break Free”, Zedd knows how to craft hits. One of the hardest struggles though for mainstream artists is to make a commercially powerful album that still pleases critics. Here’s Everything Mainstreams review of “True Colors” by Zedd:

Zedd-Addicted-to-a-Memory-201511. Addicted to a Memory (feat. Bahari): Bahari leaves little space to improve as she sings her way as the song’s dominant presence, but the side-effect of this is that Zedd isn’t involved as much as required. 69/100

zedd-selena-gomez-i-want-you-to-know-cover2. I Want You To Know (feat. Selena Gomez): Ready, aim, fire away. “I Want You To Know” utilizes all of Zedd’s EDM skill, mixing genres and blending melody with flare. This track is “True Colors” greatest asset. 82/100

3. Beautiful Now (feat. Jon Bellion)

4. Transmission (feat. Logic & X Ambassadors)

5. Done With Love

6. True Colors

7. Straight Into The Fire

8. Papercut (feat. Troye Sivan)

9. Bumble Bee (Zedd + Botnek)

10. Daisy

11. Illusion (feat. Echosmith)
